Aaah, remember the good old days when unexplored culverts had an outfall the size of a railway portal?
Well, the remaining unexplored culverts are getting harder to find and are also getting smaller.
A change of Gear
Some of my explorations have included wet constricted bits and even lying flat out in a stream. My usual clothing of t-shirt, jeans, waders and rucksack isn't suitable for these places. Instead I wore a t-shirt and swimming trunks (covered by a pair of running shorts). On my feet, I wore a pair of nylon and rubber shoes, as worn by windsurfers etc. I carried a bum bag instead of a rucksack.
I also carried a towel and full change of clothes in the car.
